Some dialogue between Ysera and Tyrande Whisperwind that plays after the Patch 9.2.5 quest A Gift of Hope suggests that there is hope that Ysera may yet return to Azeroth... one day.

In the Patch 9.2.5 quest, A Gift of Hope, players witness a cinematic in which the Winter Queen gifts Tyrande a special seed - infused with the souls of Night Elves who lost their lives in the Burning of Teldrassil.
