As part of the official Diablo 4 Season 8 patch notes, leveling has received additional tuning, with early levels being easier than during the PTR. During the Season 8 Campfire Chat, Blizzard had announced changes to leveling aimed at slowing down the pacing, citing that the average player took 15-17 hours to reach level 60 during Season 6 compared to just 9 hours for Season 7.
