Blizzard has updated the Wrath of the Lich King Classic Beta, increasing the maximum level to 80. In the Development Notes, Blizzard lists a focus of testing on flying, dungeons, quests, zones, Death Knight starting zone experience, and glyphs. Players that have made it into the Beta are not able to create template Level 80 characters in this current beta testing period.
