WoW Addon Developer Jon “Sylvanaar” Akhtar Has Passed Away
Unfortunate news today, as we are deeply saddened to learn that Jon S Akhtar, aka Sylvanaar, has passed away. A professional and open source developer, Jon was the author of several well known World of Warcraft addons including Prat, Addon Control Panel, and WoW Instant Messenger.
With nearly 50 million downloads on Curseforge, Sylvanaar's addons have been a credit to the World of Warcraft community, and his ingenuity will be sorely missed.
