World of Warcraft: Legion launched five years ago on August 30, 2016. Featuring many crowd-pleasing elements such as the return of Illidan and the acquisition of powerful artifact weapons like Ashbringer, coupled with a briskly-paced content release schedule that was very welcome after the content drought of Warlords of Draenor, this expansion is generally remembered fondly by players in spite of challenges with Artifact grinds and Legendary acquisition in earlier patches.
