Artifact Weapons in Legion Remix
Each specialization has a specific Artifact Weapon, meaning there are plenty of unique Artifact Weapons to collect while playing through Legion Remix. Back in the Legion Expansion, theseArtifact Weapons each had unique abilities and talent trees tailored to your specialization and class.
In Legion Remix, all Artifact Weapons will have the same talent tree. Within this new talent tree are five different Artifact Weapon abilities to choose from, with each ability having it's own follow-up tree.
Powering Your Artifact Weapon in Legion Remix
In Legion, Relics were used to add extra ranks and item level to your Artifact Weapon. In Remix, players will upgrade their Artifact Weapon item level with a currency known as Artifactium Sand. Extra rank upgrades are awarded from jewelry pieces.
A significant quality of life change coming with Legion Remix is shared artifact power. Instead of having to grind Artifact Power for each separate weapon, Infinite Power is shared between all Artifact Weapons. Infinite Power also increases your Primary Stat and Stamina, and you can see how much of these your weapon grants by checking the Infinite Power buff on your buff bar at any time.
Artifact Weapon Appearances Are Not Returning in Legion Remix
Each specialization has its own unique Artifact appearances for its respective weapon. Once these appearances are obtained, they can be used for transmog account-wide.
Unfortunately, the additional weapon appearances originally introduced in Legion will not be returning with Legion Remix. the Artifact Forge that allowed your weapon's visual customization is not present on any Order Halls, and as such, Legion Remix cannot be used to obtain new appearances. Only the base ones are available.
