What Was Left Out of Legion Remix?

While Legion Remix brought ways to earn tons of rewards from the original expansion, some notable rewards got left behind and can only be obtained on Live servers.

Legion Remix Overview Legion Remix: Rewards

Legion Assault Weapon Ensembles
While we saw the return of Legion Assaults with Legion Remix, one detail was left behind, weapon transmog!

In the original Legion expansion, final Assault bosses had a chance to drop different weapon transmog. Some of these weapons are iconic to collectors, like the hilariously long Wrathblade sword.

You can still obtain these weapons on Live, but with long wait times for Legion Assault spawns, mixed with low drop rates, the question remains. Why didn't these get added as Ensembles on the Legion Remix vendors?

Seriously, this sword is LONG.

Pond Nettle Mount
For this fishers of WoW, the Pond Nettle was left out of Legion Remix. This mount is a re-color of Fathom Dweller, which interestingly is included with Legion Remix, but not Pond Nettle. What caused it to be removed?

This mount can be obtained on Live servers by fishing in any fel water spot on Argus. Hopefully, it does not take over 20,000 casts to obtain like some other poor collectors had to experience. (Fingers crossed!)

Ratstallion Mount
Rodents of unusual size! Ratstallion is another mount that never made it to Legion Remix. Like the name suggests, it is simply a large rat mount.

To obtain this mount on Live servers, players need to complete the Underbelly Tycoon achievement, which involves collecting 0 Sightless Eye from the Dalaran Sewers.

Of the Doomed Ritual Armor Set
Back in the Legion expansion, there were a few different rewards available with defeating powerful demons summoned from their Ritual of Doom.

Certain rewards like the Hateful Eye are available from the Legion Remix Vendors, but there is no Ensemble set for the Of the Doomed Ritual Armor Set. With it already requiring 3 additional people of the same faction to summon a demon, it would be nice to see some transmog drop, but this unfortunately never came to fruition.

Did Blizzard Learn from MoP Remix?
Legion Remix serves as a huge chance to collect all sorts of goodies without dumping a painstaking amount of hours to get it all. Certain items were even brought back after a long period of being unobtainable, like the Violet Spellwing. While this deserves its recognition, why were certain rewards seemingly forgotten again?

For those that participated in MoP Remix, one of the biggest pains that was a significant point of feedback was the absence of weapon ensembles. Not having weapon ensembles caused a lot of players to miss out on class-specific raid drops. With Legion Remix, this was a perfect opportunity to correct that mistake, yet that didn't happen.

Acknowledging and correcting small mistakes like this can help take a fun game mode like Remix events from good, to great.
