Warlords of Draenor Collector’s Edition Mount & Pet Found on Mists of Pandaria Classic

We're just over a month into the final Phase of Mists of Pandaria, Siege of Orgrimmar, and Blizzard has remained tight-lipped about their plans for these progression servers. While the roadmap for Mists of Pandaria Classic was shared during the State of Azeroth earlier this year, the roadmap ends with Phase 5 and shows nothing else after BlizzCon on September 12th. Players may have to wait for Blizzard to reveal what's next for MoP Classic at BlizzCon in 2 months, but we may have just found a clue.

Did Blizzard Tease WoD & Legion Classic?

First discovered in the Mists of Pandaria game files in January 2014, the Reins of the Dread Raven was eventually announced as a mount included with the purchase of Warlords of Draenor Collector’s Edition in August 2014. Along with the Mount also came the Dread Hatchling Pet. While it's normal for Collector’s Editions to come with in-game goodies, it seems strange that these two items are also on the Mists of Pandaria Classic database, though currently unobtainable. Could this be a clue that Blizzard is planning to progress to Warlords of Draenor? Is that why they've been so quiet about the future of these progression servers?

While this could simply mean that these items were leftover in the database from the original 5.4.2 patch, the Reins of the Dread Raven can also be found in the game's current Mount Journal. This is not confirmation that Mists of Pandaria Classic will progress to Warlords of Draenor, but it could be a hint of what Blizzard plans to reveal at this year's BlizzCon.
