The Voidspire Overview
Voidspire Raid Skip
After completing The Voidspire: Flicker in the Hollow, players can skip directly to Paladins. Players have noticed a few interactions with this skip that we've noted below:
If you skip and don't kill Paladins, you can soft-reset the instance if needed and spawn back at the start of the raid.
If you skip, kill Paladins, but don't kill Alleria, you can technically backtrack to the start of the raid, but a bug teleports players back to the boss arena for Paladins if they get too close to the raid entrance. The backtracking requires careful pathing back to the start of the raid.
If you skip and kill both Paladins and Alleria, you are teleported to the treasure room. The NPCs in the treasure room teleport you to Silvermoon City, instead of back at the entrance to the raid. Zoning out and back into the raid puts you back in the treasure room. In other words, players are stuck in the treasure room once they are teleported there.
A Problem for Mythic Raiders
These interactions create a severe problem for Mythic raiders due to the way Mythic lockouts work. Once a boss is defeated on Mythic, the raid is locked to that specific instance for the remainder of the week. If a guild skips and defeats Paladins on Mythic, they have to resort to unintended ways of getting back to the entrance of the raid to defeat previous bosses.
On other difficulties, players can bypass this problem by simply leaving the instance and joining another one.

Players can use the following route back to the entrance of the raid if they defeat Paladins and choose not to progress onto Alleria. But the question remains, why do players have to resort to unconventional methods to preserve their Mythic lockouts?
