Use Snowballs to Find Lothraxion During Divine Guile in Nexus-Point Xenas

Players can use Snowballs to find Lothraxion easily during his Divine Guile cast in Nexus-Point Xenas!

Nexus Point Xenas Overview Midnight Season 1 Mythic+ Rewards

Divine Guile
At 100 Energy, Lothraxion will cast Divine Guile, triggering an intermission phase. This intermission disguises Lothraxion amongst several Fractured Images, who all begin casting Divine Guile. The party takes heavy damage every two seconds while this cast channels.

The goal is to find the real Lothraxion out of all the Fractured Images and interrupt his cast to end the intermission. The real Lothraxion is the one without glowing horns. In Mythic, interrupting a Fractured Image inflicts Core Exposure on the party. Core Exposure deals significant damage to the group and also causes players to take 20% increased Holy damage for 1 minute. In a fight that is all Holy damage, this is a scary debuff!

Use Snowballs to Find the Real Lothraxion
A neat strategy involving Snowballs can help find Lothraxion during Divine Guile with relative ease. Here's how it's done:

When Lothraxion begins to cast Divine Guile, spread far enough away from the boss so that you can see the snowball when used.

Right before the cast goes off and the Fractured Images spawn, use a snowball. Make sure you are targeting Lothraxion before throwing the snowball.

The snowball will travel towards the real Lothraxion, even after all the Images spawn.

Interrupt Lothraxion once found.

Any slow-moving projectile can be used in place of snowballs (Wrath, Chaos Bolt, etc.). Snowballs are a great option if your class doesn't have any projectile-based spells.

The ease of this strategy makes it incredibly useful to save your party from taking extra damage and get out of the intermission quickly. If you're going for 3400 Mythic+ rating for the new mount rewards, consider this strategy the next time you run Nexus-Point Xenas!
