Transmog Outfit & Slot Costs Lowered By 90% – Mists of Pandaria Classic

Following this week's extended maintenance, players were surprised to find that the Retail transmog system made its way into Mists of Pandaria Classic. While opinions on this new system were mixed, one thing that players agreed on was that transmog costs were too high.

Why was this not even on the PTR? Saving transmog sets in this new system costs over 3x as much in most cases. Just checked and it was 1480g to save 1 set. I’m looking at 10s of thousands of gold to interact with this system on my characters (which all have multiple sets). I get that the system allows you to save them all and change to them at will, but that amount of gold in MoP compared to retail is actually unacceptable

Greetings, MoP Classic transmog enthusiasts! Thank you for your feedback on transmog gold costs. We agree that the current costs to transmog slots and outfits are too high. Please be advised: We plan to reduce these costs via an update, which will roll out soon.

Taking this feedback into consideration, Blizzard has now released a Hotfix, which reduces the cost of Transmog by 90%.

With a hotfix that went live about ten minutes ago, we’ve reduced Transmog outfix and slot gold costs by 90%.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
