Forgeweaver Araz
On Thursday, August 28th, players started to notice some targeting logic changes on the Forgeweaver Araz encounter. The reports started to come in around 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET / 7 PM CEST, and these changes make the encounter much harder.
We have found no matching hotfix for this, so we suspect the change is server side.
Silencing Tempest can now target Tanks.
Silencing Tempest can now target players under the effects of Astral Harvest.
These changes make the encounter much more difficult on certain overlaps, notably the 5th and 9th sets of adds. Players who are in position to drop adds can be gifted with puddles spawns under them, and there's a higher chance of this happening with the Tank now eligible as well!
Guilds have decided that the main way to combat this strategy is by placing the adds on the far side of the Void Tear during this overlap so that the adds walk naturally through it. This is less DPS, but allows for a lot more wiggle room when these new bad overlaps happened.
Nexus-King Saldahaar
On Friday night around 5 PM PT / 8 PM ET / 2 AM CEST, these hotfixes made the Nexus-King fight harder by removing some tech.
Banishment is now a Shadow spell and can no longer be removed by Blessing of Protection.
Nexus Beams now has an initial tick.
During the Royal Voidwing Burn (Intermission 1), the safe spot under the boss is no longer accessible.
King's Thrall hotfixed to remove a Faction flag (we assume this removes the Druid no abilities bug).
On Mythic difficulty, Banishment deals a lot of damage and players were removing it via Blessing of Protection. This no longer works. The others are small changes, but if you were planning on standing on the boss during the burn to not move, this now appears to be fixed.
