Feast of Winter Veil in WoW Classic and 20th Anniversary Realms

Where: Initial holiday quests can be found in Orgrimmar and Ironforge, but festive decorations can be found throughout the world.
Winter Veil Mounts & Pets
These four companion pets are available during the Feast of Winter Veil in MoP Classic, as well as more that are covered in the full guide.

These pets can be looted from the Gaily Wrapped Present, available from December 25th through January 2nd. You can use these pets any time of the year, but you will need a Snowball to summon them.
Two mount modifications are available during the Feast of Winter Veil in MoP Classic - Preserved Holly & Fresh Holly. Both of these are one-time-use items that transform your mount into a reindeer. The difference is that Fresh Holly expires after 7 days, whereas Preserved Holly can be used (and sold) at any time throughout the year.
Winter Veil Achievements
In addition to the many events that are running during this holiday, players can complete several objectives to gain achievements. Completing all of the achievements will allow the player to gain the Merrymaker meta achievement and title.
This meta achievement is required for What a Long, Strange Trip It's Been, which rewards the Reins of the Violet Proto-Drake.
