Before Anything: Get Infinite Knowledge
The main thing players need to know before grinding Infinite Power is that you can earn more for your time by earning Infinite Knowledge, a Remix currency that increases your Infinite Power gains. Infinite Knowledge is earned by obtaining specific achievements in Legion Remix.
Collecting Infinite Knowledge should be your primary task if you want to focus on farming more power. Check our previous news post to learn more about Infinite Knowledge!
Infinite Knowledge and You - Maximizing your Infinite Power Gains
Fragmented Mementos in Legion Remix
Farming Fragmented Memento of Epoch Challenges is by far the best way to farm Infinite Power in Legion Remix - Combining 100 Fragments gives you a significant boost of Infinite Power, starting at just shy of 52k at Infinite Knowledge 1 and going up to 125k at the cap of Infinite Knowledge 36.
With Phase 1 being capped at 28 Artifact Knowledge, you'll obtain 112,500 Infinite Power for every 100 Fragmented Mementos.
Below, we have the best sources of Fragmented Mementos in Legion Remix:
The Best Way to Farm Infinite Power: Arcway Is In, Maw of Souls Is Out
Back during Legion, Maw of Souls mythic keystone runs were lauded as being the best way to farm Artifact Power due to it being the fastest key players can run, with a short dungeon and key time. This is not the case for Legion Remix, however!
End of dungeon rewards such as Mote of a Broken Time and Fragmented Memento of Epoch Challenges take into account the established time it would take to beat a dungeon. This means that dungeons with a longer timer are more rewarding, and with Legion Remix giving players near unlimited levels of power (and these longer dungeons not feeling as long), spamming Arcway key runs is the most efficient way to farm Infinite Power!
With Arcway having a significantly longer timer than most dungeons (and not having a lot of it be padded by unskippable boss introduction scenes like in Halls of Valor), Arcway keys are invaluable for Infinite Power farming.
If your group is strong enough, you can even go as far as splitting your group to finish the dungeon even faster, with four people rushing to kill each of the initial four bosses, and the fifth person waits at the spawn point for the final boss, Advisor Vandros, and kills him the second he spawns. This ensures that entire Arcway runs are done in under 3 minutes.
Run Mythic+!
Although Arcway runs are the fastest way to farm Infinite Power, other Mythic+ dungeons are still a powerful source of Infinite Power. Even a +2 key, easily doable by a group of fresh 80s, drops as few as 8-9 Fragments per completion, and the number only goes up as you complete higher leys. Mythic+ is also the only source of Fragmented Mementos without some limiting cap, besides not having a key or key groups going.
You can obtain a Timeworn Keystone by talking with Lindormi by the Heroic World Tier console at the Infinite Bazaar, or by finishing any dungeon in Mythic difficulty.
Run Raids Every Day
Although not as powerful, Raids are still a great way to get Infinite Power - Every raid boss drops a scaling quantity of Fragmented Memento of Epoch Challenges:
1-3 per LFR boss;
4-8 per Normal boss;
12-15 per Heroic boss;
25-30 per Mythic boss.
In Legion Remix, raids are on a daily reset! For now, Emerald Nightmare and Trial of Valor are open, but more raids are being added, starting in Phase 2 with Nighthold. You can run Heroic raids starting once you hit level 80, and we recommend an iLvl of 610 or higher to begin running Mythic raids.
Complete Quests, Kill Rares, and do Heroic Dungeons
Like in other Remix content, you'll gain Infinite Power simply by playing the game. The most basic way of obtaining Infinite Power is by completing Legion Remix content - Farming world quests and dungeons. One chill way of farming Fragmented Memento of Epoch Challenges if you're solo and don't feel like doing group content is by killing Rare mobs in Heroic World Tier.
Rares in the Broken Isles in Heroic World Tier drop Fragmented Mementos - 1 per rare. As your power increases, rares in the open world will take less and less time to die. In addition to Fragmented Mementos, rares also drop a significant amount of Mementos, due to them being guaranteed to be empowered by the HWT affixes. As you fly between rares (Drake Treats are great for this), you'll notice your memento count going up by doing something a little more chill.
Addons such as HandyNotes and SilverDragon adds location markers for every Legion rare on your map for easier locating.
