Season 10 Overview Infernal Hordes Guide
Chaos Rifts Guide Chaos Powers Guide Chaos Armor Guide
Our Druid Writer and Author of Ravens Build, RenataKane, notes its active and fun playstyle as a huge bonus on top of its damage.
Ravens Druid is not just the successor to the popular Cataclysm Druid build -- it surpasses it in damage, playability, and fun. Face it: Cataclysm destroyed screens of mobs, but it was a dead bore to play. Cataclysm remains important, but Ravens become the star. Add the active elements of lightning-infused spinning Ravens placed just where you want them, with even more summoned through the Kilt of the Blackwing, and you have a top-tier destruction machine.
Spirit management is handled entirely by Mjölnic Ryng giving you unlimited Spirit, so no worries about Savagery turning your Companion skills to Core skills. This build creates layer upon layer of damage and survival synergies, all rolled up into a build that's a blast to play.
If Ravens or Druid as a whole doesn't tickle your fancy, fear not! Season 10's introduction of Chaos Armor has brought many builds to the forefront. Allowing new combinations of Unique Powers has created an immense amount of build diversity, leading to the most S-Tier Build Diversity ever. Ravens Take Over Sanctuary
Ravens themselves are not new to Druid, with the companion skill being used more supportively instead of taking an active role in previous builds. Utilizing the new Kilt of Blackwing Unique is the cornerstone of the build, significantly increasing the damage of Ravens, and spawning more Ravens in the process. As a bonus, the build can also leverage the availability of Kilt of Blackwing on Chaos Armor, granting a massive 120% bonus to Ravens on the power alone. But a new Unique alone would not make the build as powerful as it is. A couple of under-the-radar bugfixes in Season 10 have also helped the build reach stardom.
- Fixed an issue where Druid Ravens passive power was not receiving bonuses from instances of Additive or Multiplicative bonus damage towards shapeshifting forms or human form.
- Fixed an issue where Stormcrow's Aspect was not properly granting the Storm Skill bonus to Ravens.
By fixing Stormcrow's Aspect, Ravens got a massive boost in power, as bonuses such as Perfect Storm now properly apply. These bug fixes might seem small at first, but together they form a strong foundation for Ravens to thrive. The final push comes in the form of Seasonal Power.
Chaos Powers make Chaos Ravens
Chaos Perks and Chaos Armor are the shining buffs needed to catapult Ravens to the top of S-tier. Every Chaos Perk in the build plays its part in the build, with Savagery being the crowning jewel. Increasing the AoE of Ravens while also turning them into a Core Skill is a powerful bonus that can be further leveraged in the build, such as with the next Chaos Perk, Purge the Infected.
