The Addon Trials Community Competition Extended Eligibility

Curseforge has extended the date of eligible entries for their Addon Trials community competition to the start of Midnight Beta on November 11th, in order to allow more existing addons to participate!

The initial eligibility date has been extended from March 2nd to November 11th, allowing more pre-existing addons to participate!

The Addon Trials are a new competition to create any kind of mod for World of Warcraft: Midnight, running from from now through July 5th, with 20 winners receiving a share of the $8,100 prize pool! Any type of addon is eligible, no matter how big or small, and will be judged on their originality, user experience, and design, as opposed to strictly how expansive it is. Because the intent is to encourage new addons, instead of voting on already well-established legacy projects, only mods created after the launch of Midnight are eligible, though that cut-off date has now been moved back to the start of Midnight Beta, rather than its full launch.

Ten bonus "mid-contest" winners will also be chosen to win $100, so get your entries in early!

Additionally, Curseforge has officially revealed the contest judges for choosing the top 10 submissions, though their final rankings will still be decided by community vote:
