Sporefall Raid Gear Has New Stats in Patch 12.0.7

As of this week's PTR build, Sporefall raid gear no longer drops with randomized stats, eliminating a concern with trying to bonus roll specific combinations.

Cloth

Mycomancer's Rot Robes - Haste/Mastery

Luxurious Loamstriders - Mastery/Crit

Leather

Festerbloom Crown - Haste/Crit

Sash of the Putrid Giant - Crit/Mastery

Mail

Fungarian Folly Faulds - Crit/Mastery

Grudgefiend Stompers - Mastery/Haste

Plate

Putrid Tender's Battleplate - Mastery/Haste

Girdle of Devouring Rot - Crit/Mastery

Jewelry

Rotmire's Sporeheart - Mastery/Crit

Sporecaller's Blooming Loop - Haste/Mastery

Sporelord's Mycelial Insignia - Primary Stats

While randomized stats are certainly interesting, it seems likely that this has changed to address issues with Nebulous Voidcore bonus rolls. Given only one chance to roll the item you need with the stats you actually want before it's removed from the knockout list, RNG would have a significant impact in a system specifically designed to curtail it, which threatened to be extremely dissatisfying for players chasing specific combinations. While this change undoubtedly results in less potential for "perfect" items, it creates a more consistent experience for players in a raid which is releasing relatively late, which doesn't leave much time to farm before the next season begins anyway.

Remember that armor pieces can still be catalyzed, giving players another potential combination of stats to choose from.

The Sporefused gear remains 9 item levels above their regular upgrade tracks, making Rotmire drop the highest item levels available in Season 1 and means that many of the pieces are likely to remain best or near best-in-slot for most classes regardless of their stats.
