Extra Birds with Guardian Sentry
After defeating the Overgrown Ancient boss, players can head towards Crawth. Along the way, there is a single Guardian Sentry that must be defeated before the jump bridge over to Crawth's arena opens.
In Mythic+, pulling a singular mob is often an inefficient use of time, especially in higher keys. This mob has a lot of health, and players can spend minutes defeating this mob. Thanks to a strategy found by Kesslive, there is a way to pull the birds on Crawth's arena with this Guardian Sentry!
This trick involves using an Augmentation Evoker's Bestow Weyrnstone talent, which gives them a teleport to an ally of their choice. The Evoker purposefully gets hit by the Guardian Sentry's Expel Intruders cast while under the effects of Slow Fall. This allows the Augmentation Evoker to glide all the way to Crawth's arena without the jump bridge. The Evoker then pulls the birds, and with carefully placed Hovers, glides back into range of the ally they have Weyrnstone on. Once in the range, the Augmentation Evoker simply uses their Weyrnstone to teleport back to the Sentry platform, and the birds will snap to the platform with the Evoker for the tank to grab!
This strategy gives the other DPS players extra adds to hit, which is great for resource generation and saving time by removing one trash pull from the dungeon. So not only is count for the dungeon being completed quicker, but the Guardian Sentry will likely die quicker since there's more resource generation to cast harder hitting spells with!
