Sheath Weapons on Back or Hip with New Transmog Options in Midnight Patch 12.0.5

As revealed in the Patch 12.0.5 PTR Development Notes, new options for sheathing weapons have been added to transmogrification, allowing players to choose whether their weapons sheath at the hip, on their backs, or are hidden entirely!

Transmogrification

New weapon sheathing options have been added, including an option to hide weapons when sheathed.

Unfortunately, these options do not fully extend to two-handed weapons, as they only have the option to be sheathed on back or hidden - apparently having large weapons dragging across the ground while dangling from your hips is too immersion breaking, despite some one-handed weapons being just as long as their two-handed counterparts. Still, being able to hide the weapons completely is a useful new option, as previously this could only be accomplished by using certain cloak transmogs to take up that space.

Two-handed weapons do not get the option to sheath on the side the way one-handed weapons do.

Interestingly though, dual wielders can choose sheathing locations for each weapon independently, allowing one weapon to be on the side and the other to be on the back, or either hidden entirely.

Set sheath options independently for each hand.
