We previously datamined strings revealing the new photo sharing mode on the Midnight Beta, though the site it would be connected to was left ambiguous. Seemingly made to replace the previous Twitter Integration introduced in Patch 6.1, this new version seems nearly identical in form, with the most significant difference being the switch from Twitter (now X) to Pinterest. Blizzard has also launched its own World of Warcraft Pinterest Board as an example for players interested in getting started with the new feature, whether taking pictures of their home or any other in-game content.
The Housing feature in Midnight opens the door to express your creativity in Azeroth in new ways — and now there’s a way to capture, share, and discover inspiration on Pinterest with a new in-game feature. Players can connect their World of Warcraft account to their personal board and share screenshots directly from the game.
Whether you’re showing off a finished home or collecting ideas for your next build, the Pin-o-Matic Camera makes it easy to bring your vision beyond the game and connect with the housing community.
Getting Started
Connect to your Pinterest account directly from within World of Warcraft:
Open Options
Go to Gameplay → Social
Check Connect to Pinterest
Sign in through the in-game browser and authorize the connection
You can also disconnect your account at any time using the same menu.
Unlock the Pin-o-Matic Camera The first time you connect your Pinterest account, you’ll earn the “Craft Your World” Feat of Strength ,which rewards the Pin-o-Matic Camera toy. The camera is added automatically to your Toy Box and is ready to use right away.
Capture Your Creations
Using the Pin-o-Matic Camera activates a photo mode:
Frame your shot with a capture overlay.
Choose portrait (2:3) or square (1:1) aspect ratios.
Take a photo or exit photo mode at any time.
After capturing a photo, a short animation plays before you’re prompted to create your Pin.
Create and Publish Pins
Once you’ve taken a screenshot, you can add optional titles and descriptions before publishing your Pin directly to your Pinterest account. A confirmation message lets you know when your Pin is live, and you can continue taking photos or return to gameplay.
Find Inspiration and Connect with the Community
Pinterest is also a place to explore Housing creativity from other WoW players. Browse builds, save ideas for future projects, and follow fellow creators. Inspiration can start on a board or in-game — and flow right back into your Azeroth home.
Craft Your World — For the Board!
