Season of Discovery Community Fresh Event Phase 1 Compendium: Everything You Need to Know

Players looking to get back into Season of Discovery have a lot to look forward to as Guzu, Savix, and sunglitters begin Phase 1 of their Fake Fresh community event. While Jokerd and Lmgd have created guilds as well, they will not be following the same Phase-lock as the previously-mentioned guilds.

Season of Discovery Community Fresh Event

Phase 1 is now live, and will continue until June 29th! In this Phase, players will be able to reach level 25, take on the Blackfathom Deeps raid, unlock the secrets of their professions, and prepare for Phase 2.

Level 25

In this first Phase, players will be able to reach level 25 before being required to turn off further experience gains. With all Runes available for 1 Copper each from the Rune Broker in each starting zone, it should be easy to prepare everything you need for the journey ahead.

In addition to all Runes being available at level 1, players will also automatically have the Discoverer's Delight activated, making leveling a breeze! If you'd like to take your time leveling, you can deactivate this experience buff at any time by speaking with an innkeeper in a capital city.

Blackfathom Deeps Raid

The level 25 raid in Season of Discovery, Blackfathom Deeps, offers a fun challenge to adventurers, as well as some great level-appropriate rewards. This 7-boss raid is designed for 10 players and resets every 3 days.

In addition to some great loot and fun bosses, Blackfathom Deeps also starts a secret quest for Blacksmiths, Leatherworkers, & Tailors, and provides the Boon of Blackfathom World Buff whenever a player completes the Blackfathom Villainy quest.

Battle for Ashenvale

But raiding and gearing aren't the only things to do during Phase 1! Players in the Ashenvale zone can also take part in the Battle for Ashenvale World PvP Event, where they can rack up points by defeating enemy guards in the zone.

Participating in this event will grant players reputation with the Warsong Outriders faction, which will unlock new gear rewards, as well as a level 25 mount that can be used exclusively in Ashenvale!

Professions

Season of Discovery brings a ton of fun and unique profession recipes. While some of these can be learned from your profession trainer, some are drops from the Blackfathom Deeps raid, and others can only be discovered as a part of a secret quest.
