Unlocking the Voidforge
The Voidforge allows you to purchase bonus rolls throughout Season 1 content and further upgrade Hero and Myth-track gear.
To unlock the Voidforge, players need to complete the Building the Voidforge introductory questline from Decimus. The introduction questline requires players to craft an Elemental Voidcore. Elemental Voidcores are what give the Voidforge its power.
Decimus needs 6 Elemental Voidcores total to build the Voidforge. To create an Elemental Voidcore, players need to collect 3 Elementary Voidcore Shards.
Elementary Voidcore Shards drop from 3 different types of content in Midnight Season 1:
Defeating raid bosses from any of the 3 Midnight raids
Looting Bountiful Coffers from Bountiful Delves
Completing Mythic+ dungeons and looting the end chest
After earning their first Voidcore, players must grab theAn Elementary Voidcore quest to earn further Voidcores. This quest is repeated until all six Voidcores are created.
Before Patch 12.0.5, players can collect 5 Elemental Voidcores. You can check how many Elemental Voidcores you've already created by checking the Nascent Voidforge out in the Voidstorm. Progression towards building the Voidforge is warband-wide.

Why Should Players Do This?
The Voidforge brings significant power gains in Patch 12.0.5. With the Voidforge, players can get additional chances at Myth-track gear from +10 Mythic+ dungeons and Mythic raiding, eventually being able to obtain the exact item they want.
This system also brings further item-level upgrades to Hero and Myth-track gear, as well as the highest-quality Radiance-crafted gear.
Getting a head start on crafting your Elemental Voidcores allows you to craft the Voidforge as soon as possible, and the unlock is Warband-wide. Once the Voidforge is built on one character, all your characters have access to it. This is a great source of power for any players looking to gear alts.
Lastly, this is a huge time saver. Gathering Voidcore Shards requires participating in Mythic+, raids, or Delves, which can all take some time to complete. If you're already playing throughout this content for your Great Vault, might as well earn some Voidcore shards along the way!
