Armor Specialization Bug Report on GitHub
Evidence of this bug can be found in multiple ways:
By comparing stat values of characters affected and not affected by the bug.
By checking if the Armor Specialization buff from the Spellbook is red.
By noticing that the spell for your Armor Specialization is just missing entirely.
The missing buffs seem to be affecting several classes at the time of reporting, including Death Knights, Shamans, and Paladins.
While the exact cause is unknown, it is also speculated amongst the community that this bug is related to the recent merging of servers and the large amount of transfers to these new mega servers. It is also speculated amongst the community that this bug can be fixed by deleting and restoring your character.
