AFK Farming Void Assaults
Void Assaults are a new activity in Patch 12.0.5 consisting of two parts: Void Strikes and Void Incursions. Void Strikes are quick 5-minute objective-driven invasions that occur continuously throughout the zone. Completing a strike will activate a new one throughout the zone. Once enough Strikes have been completed, a Void Incursion will begin. Incursions are larger scenarios that require significant number of players to complete.
Savvy players have noticed that you only need to be within the Strike or Incursion objective area in order to receive full rewards. Activity progress is not required for completion credit; mob kills aren't necessary nor interacting with objects. This has lead to growing amount of AFK players in these activities collecting Field Pouch and Field Satchel rewards passively.

Loot from Void Incursion's Field Satchel:

If you're able to participate, we recommend that you do so as it helps speed along the rate of completion for Void Assaults. Additionally, you can improve the efficiency of the farm through participation by killing enemies and looting Dark Particle. 100 Dark Particles can be redeemed for 10xField Accolade at Maren Silverwing in Silvermoon.
While this AFK farm can be lucrative for the effort, you'd still need 192 Void Assaults for the 1530x Field Accolade necessary to obtain all the cosmetics or roughly 63 Void Assaults per Heroic gear cache not counting any weekly quests or Incursions. Consider running higher tier Ritual Sites with challenges if you're looking speed the farm along significantly.
Void Assault Rewards
Void Assaults share rewards with Ritual Sites with Field Accolades acting as the primary currency for purchases. You can farm Heroic and Champion Gear, Tier 2 Void Recolor transmogs, mounts, pets, and decor at various vendors.

Tier 2 Recolors can be purchased for 0 Voidlight Marl and 5 Field Accolade each but are random draws by equipment slot with no repeats. If you're looking for gear upgrades, then you can purchase Cache of Void-Touched Armaments or Cache of Void-Touched Armaments for a random piece of Heroic or Champion gear. However, these can be fairly pricey at 500 and 75 Field Accolade respectively.
