This doesn't sound like it should be a big deal, but these are actually the first premade standalone sets of stairs available in player housing. A seemingly obvious feature, it's actually quite important, but the lack of them has thus far forced players into complicated custom solutions that are sometimes more trouble than they're worth. Creating even simple functional stairs can be an elaborate and time consuming process that eats up a big portion of your decor limit, and good luck if you ever have to move them!

While players can make their own set of stairs, even this quick and simple build on the left takes up 38 decor limit and 8 separate pieces of decor, while the new stairs cost just 3. Certainly, one size it not going to fit all, but it's a massive improvement for players who just want a simple staircase, while those looking for more complex builds still have every option to make them.
