Mythic Ula'tek Nerfed
The Race to World First guilds are the most geared players in World of Warcraft, and they are still working on Mythic Ula'tek in Week 3. Liquid's Arms Warrior has so much gear that they got the Myth of the Mist achievement last night for hitting item level 331.
Echo is currently in the lead at 60.8%, and Liquid is at 74.6% as of when this article is released. The boss health still seems to be quite high for having pulled Mythic Ula'tek 200+ times. With hotfixes that are now live, Blizzard has nerfed the encounter to hopefully help the guilds kill this boss slightly faster and more consistently.

Blight Vein damage reduced by 25.7%
Soul Constrictor duration reduced to 5 seconds (was 6 seconds) on Mythic difficulty.
This should make Phase 2 more consistent, as the strategy of snapping a 4 set of Tethers previously did 1.2M damage every 2 seconds for 6 seconds. This will now do only about 900k per tick, which is still a lot of damage, but considering health pools are around the 850k-900k mark, this will definitely give more leeway for players.
