Odyn, Helya, and the Jailer’s Eye – Chains of Domination Story Background

With the launch of Patch 9.1, the first three chapters of the Chains of Domination storyline became available. We explore some of the lore referenced in this storyline, about Odyn, Helya, and the Jailer's Eye.

Warning: Spoilers for this week's Chains of Domination quests if you have not yet completed them.

In Chapter 3 - Focusing the Eye, the player meets and rescues Danica, one of Odyn's golden Val'kyr, from the Maw. On returning to Skyhold, Danica brings Odyn a message from Helya.
