Interview Summary
SoD
World of Warcraft: Forever will have pre-Season of Discovery content.
SoD pushed the limit of additions about as far as they could push it.
They wanted to be a little more conservative for Forever, and while there are class changes, they still preserved the original class specialities.
In the future, they will likely bring more of the interesting things from SoD into classes, but they're starting with filling out the skills of the classes first.
Raids and Dungeons
They are making every raid and encounter feel like Classic.
The encounters will not start with complex mechanics. They'll be challenging, but also be a place where you can bring your friends.
This is why they're starting with set sizes of 10-, 20-, and 40-man raids instead of having flex sizes.
They don't want to automatically change the difficulty of the content or have it adapt to your level. The difficulty will always be the same.
This means that you can out-gear or out-level the content.
Attunements
The new raids at launch will not require attunement.
Past that, they won't answer that at the moment.
