New Updates Made to Blizzard’s Damage Meter in Midnight Beta

Some new updates were made to Blizzard's Damage Meter in the Midnight Beta, including trackable percentages for damage and healing abilities, and an in-game combat timer!

Midnight Overview

New Damage Meter Updates
The in-game Damage Meter received a few more updates, following their response to community feedback earlier in the Beta. Here's the new updates made to the Damage Meter:

Selecting Damage Done or DPS now displays both metrics, with the non-selected metric listed in parentheses (Same with Healing Done and HPS).

Damage and Healing Spells now have individual % contributions in the breakdown menu.

Deaths have been added to the Actions category.

Self-damaging abilities no longer track on Damage meters.

What is Still Missing With Blizzard's Damage Meter?
While these features are a welcome change, there are still a few noticeable quirks and missing features:

Tracking both Damage Done + DPS at the same time removes the need to list both as a trackable option in the menu.

Total damage done by your character reflects as 100%, which feels counterintuitive.

Percentage breakdowns for minions and pets are still displayed at the bottom, instead of being mixed in.

"Enemy Damage Taken" metric is still missing.
