Inspired by the Running of the Trolls community charity event, the Darkspear Dash will become an official holiday from June 27th to the 29th in Azeroth. Now in its 12th year, the community event has been an annual celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community, helping raise awareness and support for The Trevor Project non-profit organization. Although the microholiday falls on the same date, the community event will still run concurrently Feathermoon-US and Argent Dawn-EU to continue its good works, so check out their FAQ for the full details.
In the latest Patch 12.0.7 build, some new assets have been datamined that look related to the event!
On the PTR, the calendar icon and description have been added and given the timing and the new description mentioning identity and individuality, this looks to be a Pride in WoW!
Also beginning on June 27th, the microholiday expands the event into a two-day celebration so everyone can join!
While the event has always been a bright and colorful affair, Blizzard is embracing the theme with new event decorations and rewards for participants, as well as Pocket Rainbow, Rainbow Runners, and Pocket Sand consumables to play with along the way!

Yeah, mon!
Like the original Running of the Trolls, the Darkspear Dash is a giant pride parade beginning with a beach party in the Echo Isles, taking players across Kalimdor and through the Eastern Kingdoms, all the way to Silvermoon. Although we have not yet been able to test Blizzard's take on the event to see how they have set the route, this will be the first official or unofficial run since the Midnight zone revamps making Quel'Thalas a unified part of the Eastern Kingdoms.
