WoW Forever Overview
New Kalimdor Loading Screen
The new Kalimdor loading screen features several points of interest, including Mount Hyjal off in the distance. On the right side of the new loading screen, you can also see the Darkspear Islands, which are being updated as a new PvP Battleground. Kalimdor is also receiving a new ship route connecting Steamwheedle Port to the new Riverglades zone.
Three New Ship Routes Debuting in Forever
New Eastern Kingdoms Loading Screen
The Eastern Kingdoms photo also shows several prominent points of interest, such as Karazhan on the right, Blackrock Mountain just northwest of Karazhan, and, in the distance, Dalaran City. Along the coast, you'll see Stormwind, including ships departing it. As we've learned, there will also be a Stormwind Harbor which transports players to Auberdine.
New Zephras Isle Loading Screen
World of Warcraft: Forever revamps old zones from Classic while bringing new ones as well. Our next loading screen features a brand-new zone: Zephras Isle. Zephras Isle is the starting zone for the new race coming with Forever, the Skyborne. The loading screen features the beautiful architecture that players will soon be able to explore!
New Dalaran Loading Screen
The Dalaran photo displays the beautiful Violet Citadel in the heart of the city. Trees line the background, with crystal networks shining atop the rooftops of the buildings. Players will help the Kirin Tor restore control over the city in the new City of Dalaran dungeon.
New Old Ironforge Loading Screen
Our next loading screen features the Old Ironforge, a hidden chamber located deep beneath the High Seat of Ironforge. You can see the architecture hasn't exactly withstood the test of time, with cracks in the ceilings and a hole in the back wall. The crystals still glow brightly, giving a nice touch of light to the loading screen.
New Excavation Site: Wetlands Loading Screen
World of Warcraft: Forever brings 9 new dungeons, with one of them being Excavation Site: Wetlands, located at the top of Whelgar's Excavation Site. The loading screen for this dungeon captures the Wetlands, showcasing trees and dinosaur bones that line the riverbeds of the zone.
New Ruins of Lordaeron Loading Screen
The Ruins of Lordaeron is another dungeon coming with World of Warcraft: Forever. Though Lordaeron has been left in ruins, enemies still lurk within. The loading screen itself showcases a broken-through gate with cobwebs hanging down from different parts of it, stretching to the sides of the buildings that remain standing.
New Darkspear Islands Loading Screen
Our last loading screen is for the Darkspear Islands, a new 15v15 Battleground map in World of Warcraft: Forever. The loading screen places us on the bridge leading onto the island, with a blimp flying in the background. Forever introduces an updated seasonal PvP system as well, with details yet to be confirmed.
