New Diablo 4 Patch Fixes Confusing Purchase Dialog

Blizzard has released a new Diablo 4 Patch today, changing the Purchase Dialog on Battle Pass Reliquaries that were often labeled as predatory by the community. When the Reliquary System replaced the Battle Pass, players were quick to point out the many flaws of the new purchase model, including the buttons on Reliquary Purchases being easy to misclick. There was also a minor tweak to an Achievement in preparation for the upcoming Potion changes in Season 11.

Adjusted purchase confirmation inputs in Battle Pass Reliquaries to create a better player experience by making it faster and easier to claim rewards using Favor Tokens. The same button used to initiate claiming a reward is now used to confirm the claim using Favor Tokens.

Developer’s Note: This adjustment is intended to streamline the reward claiming experience and help prevent players from accidentally initiating a claim using Platinum.

The unlock criteria for the First Aid achievement has been changed. Note that if you’ve already unlocked this achievement, it will remain unlocked.

Previous: Upgrade your Healing Potion Fully.

Now: Use your Healing Potion 1000 times.

Before today, purchasing a cosmetic required selecting multiple buttons, but in the final steps, the "Purchase with Platinum" option was put in the position where the "Purchase with Favor Tokens" button used to be, causing a lot of users to click through the confirm dialogs and accidentally spend the Premium Platinum Currency, rather than the free Favor Tokens. This appears to have been rectified by Blizzard, with the Buttons on the troublesome Dialog now being swapped to prevent misclicking purchases with Platinum.
