Currently, the objective will provide a hint to the location of the vendor and that vendor will be marked with a yellow exclamation point.

New Community Feast Tasks on the 10.0.7 PTR – Vendor Ingredient Scavenger Hunts
In a previous Dragonflight 10.0.7 PTR build, a new set of tasks were added to the Community Feast event and are now testable on the PTR. The majority of these new tasks require players to buy a particular ingredient from a variety of nearby vendors in Iskaara.
