Auto-Reset Damage Meter Option
While not currently available, two new spell strings were added to the Midnight Beta, suggesting that auto-reset functionality for the Damage Meter will be coming soon.

Toggle on to have the damage meter reset all values every time you enter a new instance.
A common frustration with the current Damage Meter is that statistics from different instances are listed together. That Demon Hunter you ran the previous dungeon with? Their damage will still show up in your current dungeon statistics, even if you aren't grouped with them anymore. Having the ability to auto-reset the Damage Meter will prevent this from happening and thus prevent further confusion.
