New Echoes of Midnight Achievement Rewards
For those who've logged into the Midnight Beta recently, you may have noticed that you receive the Echoes of Midnight achievement immediately upon login. The Patch 12.0.1 achievement is granted for those who complete the Midnight introduction, Defense of the Sunwell, and begin the Eversong Woods story campaign.
It's not uncommon for there to be an achievement for completing the introductory questline of a new expansion. However, what's curious about this particular feat of strength is the rewards, "Midnight themed cross-promotional game rewards".
As of this publishing, there doesn't appear to be any WoW in-game rewards attached, nor have we datamined any related rewards possibly due to encryption. But more likely these rewards will be for other Blizzard games (Diablo 4, Overwatch 2, Hearthstone, etc.)
Recent Cross-Game Rewards for Player Housing
We recently celebrated the advent of Player Housing with a variety Midnight-themed rewards across Blizzard's suite of other games just by completing the Welcome Home achievement. Another round of cross-game rewards could indeed be likely, especially given the recent announcement of Blizzard's What's Next showcase over the next few weeks.
