Cooldown and Pull Tracking
The Mythic Dungeon International 2026 can be viewed on the Warcraft Twitch, where there are several tools used to track certain useful dungeon info, including:
Cooldown tracking for offensive, crowd-control, and external party abilities
Interrupt tracking
Number of Mobs and Pull Count tracking
All of these tools provide useful information, which raises the question if these are available on the MDI broadcast, should this be available in the live game for players?
Cooldown Tracking
Beneath each player's frame, several essential cooldown abilities are tracked. All players have their racial ability tracked, while DPS have their offensive cooldowns, Tanks have their defensive cooldowns, and Healers have their external and main Healing cooldowns tracked. Simple glow effects display when an ability is used.
Before Midnight, players had this functionality available via OmniCD, but the AddOn was discontinued before the Midnight expansion. Other developers have made similar AddOns, such as MiniCC, but many lack the exact functionality players are looking for and/or are sometimes unreliable.
AddOns like MiniCC are a step in the right direction, but cannot track every available cooldown in-game.
Interrupt Tracking
On the broadcast, towards the corners, each Party interrupt is displayed in a small box. Whenever a player uses their interrupt, we see the cooldown of when it is available again.
Before Patch 12.0.5, players had different interrupt trackers available to them, such as Kicker and the previously mentioned MiniCC. However, Blizzard introduced last-minute API changes before Patch 12.0.5 that ultimately prevented these AddOns from continuing production, leaving players without it upon the arrival of Patch 12.0.5.
Seriously, why can't players track something as important as interrupts?
Mob and Pull Count Tracking
This last tool tracks the total number of mobs actively pulled, along with the contribution it provides to the Total Count for the dungeon.
Much like interrupt trackers, players used to have access to this functionality before Patch 12.0.5, with the most popular AddOn being MythicPlusCount.
All of this functionality is incredibly helpful to players running Mythic+ dungeons, especially for those aiming for high-end achievements such as Midnight Keystone Myth: Season One. While these AddOns are not essential for success, could this mean that this functionality is coming into the default UI?
