Mounted Lumber Harvesting Achievements Now Available
Patch 12.0.1 brought with it not only an avalanche of class changes but also the new lumber harvesting achievements. Harvest lumber in each of the expansion zones and obtain achievements that award mounted lumber harvesting in those areas. Currently 12 achievements exist that award mounted harvesting for their expansion-specific zones based on their respective lumber types:

For those that retroactively harvested lumber, you should have been granted your respective progress towards those achievements.

How to Harvest Lumber
Lumber is a newly introduced crafting material in Patch 11.2.7 used as a required reagent in all Decor crafts in Player Housing. This new material is Warbound, meaning it can be shared across your alts but cannot be sold on the Auction House or traded to another player.
Lumber harvesting does not require a particular profession and is unlocked as part of the Player Housing Intro campaign. Simply complete Lumber For You from Lestia Goldenstrike/Xiz'ro in Founder's Point/Razorwind Shores to receive the Harvesting Hatchet which upon use will allow you to toggle lumber nodes on the mini-map.

For anyone that lost their Harvesting Hatchet and couldn't repurchase, the known bug has been fixed as of February 11th.
Noting that this bug was fixed at 1:36 p.m. PST today. You can now again purchase a Harvesting Hatchet to learn the Find Lumber ability.
