Blizzard updated their Patch 2.0 PTR blog post and included a segment about some massive changes coming to the Gem system. Players will be able to craft a new "Grand" tier while some of the current Gem effects will be reworked or removed, like the Maximum Life bonus of Ruby. Right after launch last year, findings showed an additional Gem tier in Diablo 4's game files.
