Five of eight bosses are now dead in the Race to World First, with Liquid having claimed World Firsts by minutes on Forgeweaver Araz and then taken out Soul Hunters while Echo slept. Soul Hunters occupied an interesting spot in the difficulty curve this raid, being slightly easier than Forgeweaver after sustaining a 7% boss HP nerf, the second boss in a row to require such a nerf. Echo are making swift work of the Soul Hunters and may disprove Dratnos' hypothesis that you need a couple dozen pulls to get the muscle memory of the fight!
Fractillus is looking like another weird one, with Liquid currently trying a one-tank strat after sending Vantus Runes to try and make the tight DPS check of the 5:20 hard enrage which generates a DPS requirement of ~4.8mil DPS per DPS player which drops to 4.6mil with the one-tank. This is going to be an interesting reset, and if the boss is soon killable it may be a large slingshot opportunity for Echo. The reset looms, and with it a huge infusion of gear for all RWF guilds, so it'll be very interesting to see if the last two are tuned appropriately for the infusion of gear that's coming!
