Important Dispels in Midnight Season 1 Mythic+
The next few sections will highlight important dispels to watch for in each dungeon of Midnight Season 1.

Magisters' Terrace
There are three Magic dispels in Magisters' Terrace that Healers should aim to dispel as frequently as possible, Polymorph, Holy Fire, and Umbral Splinters.

Polymorph is cast by the Arcane Magisters, turning a player into a Mana Wyrm if not interrupted. If the cast goes off, the Healer can dispel the player and remove the polymorph effect.

Holy Fire is a hefty damage-over-time effect placed on players by the Lightward Healers. This DoT, combined with Runic Glaive, can deal a significant amount of damage to a player. Look to dispel Holy Fire when possible.

The last Magic debuff is during the last boss fight with Degentrius. After the Tank gets hit with Hulking Fragment, they are left with Umbral Splinters, a DoT that stacks if not dispelled. Healers will want to dispel this DoT when able, but keep in mind that dispelling places a Stygian Ichor at the Tank's feet.

Nexus-Point Xenas
Towards the end of the dungeon, there is one major Magic dispel to look out for, Burning Radiance.

This debuff is applied by the Lightwroughts onto two players, which inflicts them with hefty Holy damage for eight seconds. Healers will want to dispel one of the debuffs immediately and heal the other player to keep them alive.

Maisara Caverns
Maisara Caverns has a Polymorph dispel in the form of Hex. This cast can be interrupted, but in case it goes out, the Healer can Magic dispel it.

Later in the dungeon, players will also want to look out for Spirit Rend, a stacking Magic debuff that deals immediate damage and damage-over-time if not interrupted. Healers don't want to dispel this immediately, but instead wait to see if any player gets multiple stacks of the debuff, then dispel.

Windrunner Spire
In Windrunner Spire, the Restless Stewards have one of the harshest DoTs in Mythic+, Soul Torment. Healers will want to Magic dispel this on players as soon as they go out.

On the Derilect Duo fight, two players get inflicted with Curse of Darkness, which spawns Dark Entities that fixate each player for 12 seconds. Any classes with a Curse dispel can instantly remove the debuff, which gets rid of the Dark Entity altogether!

Algeth'ar Academy
In the area with the Overgrown Ancient boss, three Vile Lasher elites put Vile Bite on the Tank, which is a nasty bleed. Evokers, this is a great spot to use Cauterizing Flame on the Tank if you notice their bleed stacks getting too high.

Pit of Saron
Pit of Saron has a few trash packs that inflict Curse of Torment on players. This puts an absorb shield that Healers will need to heal off, but this can be quite difficult to do in higher Keystone difficulties. Instead, any player with a Curse dispel can instantly remove the absorb shield, giving your healer some nice breathing room!

Seat of the Triumvirate
While clearing the Rift Wardens in Seat of the Triumvirate, Healers will want to watch for Rift Essence debuffs. This debuff increases the amount of Shadow damage a player takes by 20%. With most of the mobs in this dungeon dealing Shadow damage, Magic dispelling this debuff is crucial to keep players alive.

Skyreach
The Adorned Bladetalons throughout the dungeon will occasionally dash at players with Blade Rush. This deals immediate damage to targeted players and leaves them with a Bleed. Evokers will want to use Cauterizing Flame if any players looks like they're about to die to the bleed.
