Skyreach Bridge
After defeating the third boss of Skyreach, players have a small mini-game bridge section to clear before heading further into the dungeon. This bridge is full of nasty birds who try to throw you off with tornadoes. What makes matters worse, there's a small pushback effect throughout the entire bridge. One wrong step, and you may find yourself off the edge.
Watch the birds to see if they're about to create a tornado before pressing forward!
This bridge can be very annoying to cross, as the pushback effect is quite strong. Luckily, there is a neat trick that skips most of the bridge! Here's how it's done:
Head up the first set of stairs and line yourself up in the top right corner of the bridge.
One of the birds will shoot a tornado directly on top of the corner you're in.
Right as the tornado is about to hit you, jump into the air.
If timed right, the vertical displacement from the tornado will knock you up and over the guard rail, skipping most of the bridge.
Continue forwards until you reach the top.
This trick can be used on any class, making it an efficient way to help with this portion of the dungeon, should you find yourself struggling to clear it normally.
Once you're at the top of the bridge, don't forget to interact with the Coalescing Winds! This removes the pushback and birds, allowing the rest of your party to cross the bridge with ease!
Are There Other Ways to Skip the Bridge?
For some classes, this isn't the only way to skip this troubling section of Skyreach. Here's a few additional ways players can skip the bridge:
Warlock - Demonic Gateway over to the other set of stairs.
Evoker - Hover and Glide to golden bird head and walk up.
Warrior - Heroic Leap across to the other set of stairs.
Demon Hunter - Fel Rush/Shift and Glide to either the golden bird head or to other set of stairs.
Other classes may be able to get across using movement abilities, but it might take some finesse. The classes mentioned above will have the easiest time skipping the bridge.
