How to Earn Sha-Touched Gems & Weapons in Mists of Pandaria Classic

With the release of the Terrace of Endless Spring raid in Mists of Pandaria Classic, players can now use Sha-Touched gems! In this article, we explore how to obtain them, how to use them, and what they do.

Changes in Mists of Pandaria Classic

In the original version of Mists of Pandaria, parts of this quest chain required players to collect Sigils dropped from raid bosses in the first 3 raids, and to defeat Sha of Fear in Terrace of Endless Spring. Due to Raid Finder not being added to Mists of Pandaria Classic, the Sigils will also drop from the end bosses in Celestial Dungeons, and you can instead defeat Sha of Doubt in Celestial Temple of the Jade Serpent.

Sha-Touched Gems

You are rewarded one Sha-Touched gem of your choice after completing the last quest in the first chapter, Chapter I: Trial of the Black Prince, of the Legendary cloak quest chain. The three gems give +500 to a different primary stat, excluding Stamina:

Crystallized Dread: +500 Agility

Crystallized Terror: +500 Strength

Crystallized Horror: +500 Intellect

These gems can only be placed into the socket on a Sha-Touched weapon. There are nine Sha-Touched weapons available in three different versions: Normal, Heroic, and Celestial. These weapons are available in their Normal and Heroic versions from the Terrace of Endless Spring and Heart of Fear raids. Celestial versions will be available for purchase starting 2 weeks after the release of the raid they are from.

After receiving your first Sha-Touched gem as a quest reward, you will be able to purchase more gems for (before discounts) each from Blacktalon Quartermaster in The Veiled Stair.
