Midnight Patch 12.0.5 OverviewUsing the Voidforge
Upon completing An Elementary Voidcore for the 6th and final time, the Voidforge will finally be complete. While there are further quests needed to unlock Ascendant Voidcore upgrades, the Nebulous Voidcore bonus rolls immediately become available... for a price!
Although unconfirmed, we have reports that taking an extra bonus roll from the vault before completing Decimus' quest will count against the weekly cap, so we recommend not risking it.
Players will first receive A Nebulous Endeavor, asking them to acquire and then spend their precious new bonus rolls. This serves as the introduction to the bonus roll system and automatically unlocks three new quests to exchange various currencies for the Voidcore, giving players a choice:
5,000 Gold for 2x Nebulous Voidcores
2,000 Voidlight Marl for 2x Nebulous Voidcores
80 Veteran Dawncrest for 2x Nebulous Voidcores
Of these, 80 Veteran Crests is likely to be the best option, being relatively abundant and quickly outmoded once reaching higher levels of gear. Regardless of which is chosen, completing any one of the quests will grant both weekly Nebulous Voidcores, represented by a new world tracker.
Nebulous Voidcores have a rolling cap which increments each week, similar to Sparks of Radiance.
And that's it! Players can now spend their Nebulous Voidcore bonus rolls as they see fit. Be warned though, that the interface appears for every eligible activity. Be very careful, as you really don't want to absentmindedly end up using one of those precious rolls on an activity you didn't intend to!
I don't know if there's a confirmation warning, and frankly I don't want to find out.
