How to Earn Golden Fleece & Other Toys From Dread Wastes – Mists of Pandaria Classic

Dread Wastes is a zone known for its creepy and decaying aesthetic, but there are also quite a few fun toys and cute pets to collect along your journey through the aftermath of the Sha.

Treasures, Mounts, & Rares of Dread Wastes

Throughout your time in Pandaria, you have most likely encountered your fair share of Rare Spawns. While they do drop gear and other useful items, they also drop a few toys and companions that are worth collecting as well!

Grinder

Grinder, an adorable Elemental-type battle pet, can be found by slaying Karr the Darkener, who is found on the far eastern side of the Dread Wastes zone. The initial item that drops is the Imbued Jade Fragment, which you can learn to summon and dismiss your new battle pet.

Aqua Strider

The Aqua Strider Aquatic battle pet is a drop from the Nalash Verdantis Rare Spawn, located in the Southeastern portion of Dread Wastes. The initial item is called the Hollow Reed, which can be used to learn how to summon and dismiss the battle pet.

Hozen Beach Ball

The Hozen Beach Ball has a 15.26% chance to drop from Ik-Ik the Nimble. While the toy has no true use, it does, however, get you ready for some fun in the sun by swapping your attire with beach-ready wear, adding a puddle of water at your feet, a shovel on your back, and a bucket in hand!

Eternal Warrior's Sigil

The Eternal Warrior's Sigil toy has a 15.89% chance to drop from Gar'lok, and will restore 15% of your health and mana every 1 second for 6 seconds total; however, any damage done to you will stop the effect.

Golden Fleece

If you have ever wanted to sparkle and glisten even in the dead of night, the Golden Fleece is for you! Not only does the wearer shine as bright as gold, but killing an enemy that yeilds experience or honor has a 10% chance to drop a small pile of gold for you to loot to gain some extra cash.

This toy has a 19/56% chance to drop from Omnis Grinlok within the zone.

Ai-Li's Skymirror

Just like the previous toy, Ai-Li's Skymirror will light your character up and make them shine like a diamond. Unlike the previous toy, however, there is no other use besides the cosmetic effect. You can get this toy by slaying Ai-Li Skymirror.

Yaungol Wind Chime

The Yaungol Wind Chime can be looted from Dak the Breaker, and allows you to charge at an enemy and inflict 50,000 physical damage to all enemies within 8 yards and knock them down for 2 seconds. This can come in handy here and there, and with only a 2-minute cooldown, it could be a great addition to your toy collection.
