Upon completion, adventurers are asked to bring the Arcane Mote looted from Shade of the Archmage into the city through the quest Shrewd Negotiations.
Upon entering the city, the guards that were previously hostile are now neutral and will offer safe passage to any Horde player who has defeated the evil Archmage. After turning in the quest to Archmage Celindra, you can now roam around the city and explore its many interesting nooks and crannies.
Many of the citizens of Dalaran, while they may accept you in their midst, don't offer you any services. That being said, it's still a great way to stock up on supplies like arrows, food, and drinks, train Mage skills, and to change out any Hunter pet through the stables.
And, most importantly, Horde players can now enjoy the blissful activity of fishing for coins in the Dalaran fountain.
