Goat Farm Nerfed in MoP Remix — Rare Hotfix?

In the latest set of live hotfixes, the popular Goat Farm has also been nerfed in MoP Remix.

the Goat Farm is no longer dropping Threads, Gems or gear significantly nerfing the Goat Farm.

There was another hotfix to Granite Quilen in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms, but it's unclear what exactly they did to them. I wasn't aware of any kind of farm regarding these creatures, but maybe there was.
