As the name implies, Lord Saltheril is hosting a soiree, presenting an opportunity for players to gain favor with the Silvermoon Court. Made up of four distinct subfactions, with their own individual reputation tracks and rewards. However, unlike most reputation, players will have to balance which subfaction they prioritize, as favoring one can reduce the reputation of others.
Each week will present the same choices, but with different outcomes, so choose carefully!
Therein lies the minigame. Each week, players will be able to choose one of the four subfaction representatives to be the guest of honor, increasing the reputation with some and lowering others. Players will also receive three Saltheril's Favor tokens, with a potential fourth obtainable based on which guest was chosen. Any number of these tokens may then be given to the four representatives, unlocking a quest to increase their reputation - allowing players to prioritize the one they want rewards from or offset any unintended insult!
Saltheril's Soiree is a… complicated affair. High society. High drama. That being said, they do their part to keep Eversong orderly and serene. Go help them tend to their defenses.
Completing these extra favor quests is not technically required to complete the event, though it is highly advised for both their reputation and additional Brimming Arcana used to purchase cosmetic appearances, decor, crafting recipes, and other rewards. The Life of the Party also requires maxing out each of the four.
Each subfaction has a distinct reputation, cumulatively feeding into the overall Silvermoon Court renown.
The only quest actually required is to Fortify the Runestones, awarding a good chunk of reputation to whichever subfaction was chosen. To do this, players must travel to whichever of the five runestones is indicated on the map and empower it with Latent Arcana obtained from quests and objectives throughout Eversong Woods. This is a world event, so any player may contribute to the runestone, which will trigger a short objective fighting off hordes of enemies and a miniboss. Succeeding will complete the weekly quest, also awarding a Surplus Bag of Party Favors pinnacle cache.
Defeat the invaders to summon their leader and restore the runestone.
Saltheril's Soiree Subfaction Rewards
While the main draw may be completing the weekly quest in exchange for reputation and renown, each of the four subfactions has its own rewards found on a dedicated event vendor beneath the covered pavilion at Saltheril's Haven. Based on the player's reputation rank with that subfaction, they offer a variety of cosmetics, profession recipes, and decor in exchange for Brimming Arcana gained throughout the event.
