This bug has now been fixed, and affected World Quests should be providing intended rewards.
Your purse may be getting a little lighter, as gold rewards from world quests are now missing in Patch 12.0.1 of the Midnight Pre-Patch!
Something's not quite right...
This very much feels like a bug, as the gold has not been replaced by anything new, the reward is simply missing entirely! We can confirm that it's not a UI issue either, as completing the quest also leaves players woefully short of coin.
You still get Valorstones though!
Interestingly, the issue does not appear to extend to zone weekly quests or world quests from previous expansions, again suggesting that this change is unintended. So if you're after relatively low amounts of easy gold, try doing world quests from previous expansions, or practically any other activity instead!
