What is the WoW Ambassadors Program?
The WoW Ambassador Program is designed to empower dedicated and experienced players who want to help shape the World of Warcraft community, both in-game and beyond. Our vision is simple: foster engagement and connection among players, ensuring everyone feels at home, whether they are a veteran raider or just starting out in Azeroth.
How the Program Works
Community is the heart of WoW, and Discord servers have become the modern taverns where players gather, strategize, and make friends. Through the WoW Ambassador Program, official and partner Discord communities nominate standout members to represent WoW’s spirit of camaraderie. Ambassadors help welcome new players, organize activities, and amplify the sense of belonging that sets WoW apart. Participating Discords enjoy special recognition, access to exclusive events, and direct support from Blizzard—making every server a more vibrant place to connect.
WoW Portal Room: Your Gateway to Community
Launching alongside the program, the WoW Portal Room is the official World of Warcraft Discord server—a hub where Ambassadors and players unite. Here, Ambassadors serve as guides, event organizers, and community champions, ensuring every adventurer feels included. Whether you’re seeking a new guild, tips for mythic dungeons, or simply want to chat, the Portal Room is where you will take the first steps to finding your people. Just like using a portal in World of Warcraft, the portal room is meant to be a way stop on your journey and not the final destination.
How to Sign Up
Ready to become an Ambassador and your Discord community join the program? Signing up is easy. Applications are now available. Once all the applications are reviewed, players will be able to meet up with the chosen Ambassadors in the WoW Portal Room beginning February 26 to find their fit.
