Farming Voidlight Marl from Ritual Sites in Patch 12.0.5

Players have a new way of farming Voidlight Marl in Patch 12.0.5, by chain running Ritual Sites either solo or as a group!

In addition to Field Accolades, the post-activity Ritual Spoils includes an amount of gold, dawncrests, Voidlight Marl, and Coffer Key Shard, with each tier rewarding an increasing amount. The amount of rewards does not appear to be change whether solo or in a group, though a group may make it easier, especially when taking on higher tiers. Best of all, the activity can be repeated as much as desired, with no key requirement or weekly lockout.

Tier 1: ~30 Voidlight Marl, 30 Coffer Key Shards

Tier 2: ~50 Voidlight Marl, 40 Coffer Key Shards

Tier 3: ~100 Voidlight Marl, 50 Coffer Key Shards

Tier 4: ~160 Voidlight Marl, 75 Coffer Key Shards

Tier 5: ~280 Voidlight Marl, 100 Coffer Key Shards
Challenges spoils multipliers do affect the amount of Voidlight Marl received so this isn't an exact accounting.

While this can be done as a group or solo, the high number of casters requiring kicks or stuns makes groups feel a little safer, particularly with a tank and/or healer.

A full group increases the health of enemies by around 350%, but it still only takes about 15 minutes for a party of 270-280 item level players pulling the majority of mobs, if not even faster with more than three DPS.

Conversely, Tier 1 Sites still take 4-5 minutes, so they may be easier, but they are not necessarily more time efficient.

There does not appear to be any advantage to clearing everything either, so players can prioritize the Captains and Void Creatures to finish the activity quicker. Upon reaching Rank 4 on the Ritual Sites Renown track, players may also encounter Outlying Dangers in the form of extra rare mobs with extremely high health, though neither of them felt particularly dangerous.

Lady Selen'vjar (the final boss) has ~10 million health, while these rare mobs have over 20 million each!
